DISA is a non-political and non-governmental organization started in 1993. Since its inception, it has been contributing to poverty alleviation through various economic activities such as women empowerment, skill training for youth, education, social entrepreneurship and other initiatives related to social development. DISA operates 102 branch offices and 23 social enterprises in 19 districts of Bangladesh and has successfully implemented several development programs including a standard residential training center in Mirpur, Dhaka. DISA is working regularly to expand its activities through creativity, innovation and uniqueness.
DISA believes in a comprehensive approach in social progress complying all the issues under the legislation.
