Who are Eligible for Training:

DIST provides residential training mainly to the adolescent boys & girls of DISA Microcredit family members and to different Projects of Government and NGOs. Targeted to female employment 2-3 months short training courses were launched from 2012 on a few different occupations such as Tailoring & Dress Making, Industrial Sewing Machine Operation, Computer operation and Electrical maintenance at Borkuit center, Chandina, Comilla.

It is observed that demands for short training courses were gradually being increased. DIST, Dhaka has developed more than 50 single occupation based short modules of training courses of 1-8 weeks duration have been introduced. Persons having employment opportunities in abroad undertake these programs. Residential training in Dhaka city is preferred by the trainees as well. A separate accommodation of female students are maintained.
